Garmin Edge 1030 Manual
The Garmin Edge 1030 incorporates the Trendline feature, which analyzes data from all Garmin GPS meter meters to define and categorize the best routes according to their popularity. Cyclists are then free to discover or not these many on-track and off-piste courses that will be offered during their outings while the most demanding will be able to create their own routes thanks to the Race Creator function. In addition, the Garmin Cycle Map provides turn-by-turn navigation assistance, signaling the most dangerous of them directly on the screen. The address search function offers up to 3 route variations per entry, and the display of the nearest points of interest allows personalized navigation tailored to the desires of each user. In addition, GPS and GLONASS technologies, as well as the barometric altimeter of the Garmin Edge 1030, continuously provide accurate data to allow cyclists to know their speed, position or altitude at any time.

The 8.9 cm (3.5 ") high-resolution touchscreen adapts to all weather conditions and can be used with gloves, even in the rain. Its light sensor automatically adjusts to the ambient lighting and thus ensures perfect readability in all circumstances and better power management (20 hours max). For more visibility and ergonomics, it can also be installed at handlebar height thanks to the flush mounting bracket. Hard-working users can also pair their Garmin Edge 1030 with the new Garmin Charge auxiliary battery. By connecting under the device, thanks to the new evolutionary support, this battery allows to power and recharge the meter during the activity. With more than 20 additional hours of autonomy, cyclists will have no trouble completing the longest journeys.

Garmin Edge 1030 users also benefit from the latest connectivity features, allowing them to forget about their phone during the activity. The new messaging feature allows you to directly send pre-written messages to other Edge Counter users, as well as answer missed calls and received SMS. Added to these possibilities is an integrated incident detection function that automatically transmits the cyclist's geographical position to emergency contacts in the event of a fall or other problem. At the same time, GroupTrack and LiveTrack allow loved ones to follow a cyclist's position in real time directly from home. Comes with the latest version of Strava Live segments, the Garmin Edge 1030 offers more competitions and segments than its predecessors. Strava Premium subscribers will be able to compete against their personal best in real time and benefit from the most popular segments in the vicinity thanks to the Explore Segment feature.
